Epoch Renewal – Sewing & Crafts
We continue to work with the young adults and mothers in providing an opportunity to learn new skills through sewing and crafts. We sell the wares each lady has made through various craft shows in the Guilford County area. The money each lady receives helps their family financially while providing the ladies an opportunity to add to their family’s economy.
Along with improving sewing skills, we encourage those that have brought weaving skills with them to continue to weave on their backstrap loom as well as teach the youth to weave. This is an important part of their culture that should be retained.
